Security
How we protect patient information
Mental health data is the most sensitive kind of personal data under Chilean law. These are the controls MindeLine is built on.
Last reviewed: October 18, 2026 · Draft pending technical review
At a glance
-
Minimal data on WhatsApp
Messages never include diagnoses or record content.
-
Encrypted
In transit and at rest.
-
Access by role
Patients, nurses and clinicians only see what their role needs.
-
Full audit trail
Every alert, message and decision is logged with who did it and when.
What data we handle
Only what the care team needs between visits: the patient's name and WhatsApp number, their answers to check-ins, alerts and the notes the nurse adds. MindeLine doesn't replace or copy the clinical record.
Where the data lives
Hosting provider and region to be confirmed. Each center's data stays separate from other centers' data.
Who can see what
- The treating clinician and the center's nurses see their own patients only.
- The care team signs in with two-step verification.
- Access ends the day someone leaves the center's team.
Consent and patient rights
Patients agree before the first message. From their account, they can download or withdraw their consent at any time. They can also ask to access, correct, delete or move their data, or object to its use, by writing to contact@mindeline.com.
Clinical safety
MindeLine doesn't diagnose, prescribe or adjust medication, replace appointments, or provide emergency care. A nurse reviews every risk signal and follows each center's escalation protocol. Very high risk goes to Chile's *4141 suicide prevention line or SAMU 131. See how escalation works.
Providers we use
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and delivers the demo form to our inbox.
- Google: runs our email.
- Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform): delivers messages between patients and nurses.
- Platform hosting: to be confirmed.
Certifications
We don't hold certifications such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 yet. If your center requires them, tell us what you need during the demo.
Report a security issue
